Australian Model of the Day: Juliana Forge

Today I thought I might feature one of my favourite Australian Models, Juliana Forge. I talk about her a lot on my blog as I believe that she has the potential to be Australia's next Miranda Kerr.

I know that we will not be seeing her walking the runways of Paris, mainly due to her exotic looks, but she has the potential to be the next Victoria's Secret Angel once Miranda retires. We know that she has caught the eye of Victoria's Secret as she attended a casting. Unfortunately, as far as we know nothing has come of it. It was good experience at the time for a young 19 year old. In an interview with the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne she did say that it was 'very positive'. So hopefully we see her working with them in the near future.

In an interview with Frockwriter, she mentioned that she has shot for Vogue Hellas (Greece) recently. I am expecting the pictures to be released very soon. This is massive for her as it will be her first editorial in an international Vogue. I am sure once it is released that it is only going to do wonders for her career. 

Juliana has worked for the likes of Portmans, Diva by Alex Perry, Forever New, Peep Toe Shoes, Veronika Maine, Red Earth, Sambag, Friends of Couture, Jeans West, Seafolly, Ralph Lauren Polo, Bloomingdales, Collette Dinnigan, Loverbyrd, Kookai, Shoona Joy, and RMK.

My favourite fashion picture of the day is the Vogue Brazil October 2003 cover with Adriana Lima. It strikes me that she still looks the same now as she did back then. I wish Vogue covers were more like this, instead of being too edgy.

This is Phillipa Gleeson, an Australian model who is signed with Pricillias Model Management and Vivens Model Management. The 5 foot 11 beauty has worked for the likes of David Jones, Myer, Sportsgirl, Harris Scarfe, Kmart, Edge Clothing, Jeans West, Novo Shoes, Ajoy, Cotton On, Bardot, and Inniu. Hopefully we see her take her talent to the international stage very soon.

Sneak Peak- Miranda Kerr for Elle Korea

Miranda Kerr is now ready for her comeback after taking time out due to the birth of her first. I must must admit, I was originally very concerned on whether she would make a comeback, or whether she would retire. During her pregnancy she was talking as she was in no rush to return. It is expected that Miranda will cover an upcoming issue of Elle Korea. Here is a sneak peak in which I stumbled upon. She is looking fantastic, and I am really looking forward to seeing something new from her. Now fingers crossed that we see more magazine appearances and lots of campaigns.
